The T-type precoating vacuum drum filter is an efficient and fine solid-liquid separation equipment with precoating technology added to the ordinary drum filter. It has been widely used in pharmaceutical, food, sugar production, chemical and other industries. This product is mainly suitable for situations where filtrate is needed and no residue is filtered.
How it works:
The working principle of the YT type drum filter is basically the same as that of the general vacuum drum filter. The main difference is that the YT filter machine pre-coating filter aids (such as celite, perlite, etc.) before filtration. During filtration, the filter aid in the tank body forms a precoat of the required thickness on the outer surface of the drum under vacuum suction, and then injects the slurry to be filtered. Under vacuum suction, the separated filtrate passes through the precoat and filter cloth and is discharged through the suction tube, liquid collector, and vapor-liquid separator. The solid particles in the slurry are trapped by the precoat layer and are continuously scraped off the surface of the filter aid by the automatic feeding scraper. When the residual thickness of the precoat is about 10mm, precoat needs to be re-prepared and the next working cycle is carried out.
